by Carolyn Steinhoff (Author)

In Carolyn Steinhoff's poetry the trees, the rocks, the buildings, the celestial and the terrestrial of our exterior world float freely in and out of her interior core, never quite settling one place or another. The results are a landscape transformed, turned inside out, floating just out of/in reach, making the knowable unknowable and the unknowable knowable. Each poem sings her longings, wanting more from the world in which she lives. I find myself humming along wanting more of her world too. -Suzanne Werner, Snapshots
