Robert J. Woz was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and has worked in the computer industry most of his life, starting off as a Java developer and then as a Test Analyst on Big Data. Now, he works as an IT consultant, while writing books aimed at helping people to better understand data analytics. When he isn't working or writing, Robert enjoys reading books and Gaming. He is a gadget enthusiast and always has to have the latest edition of anything technical and, at the age of just 10, he received a Best Creative Programmer Award, winning the Java Programming contest which was hosted in his school. He also loves playing games on his PS4, believing that it stimulates his creativity and he refers to it as his baby. But he refuses to spend all of his free time in front of a screen, and whenever he gets the chance he gets out into the natural world, goes trekking or embarks on exciting wildlife safaris.
