She is particularly interested in albinism and has published widely on understandings and representations of albinism in sub-Saharan Africa. She was awarded a Knowledge Exchange Fellowship and Wellcome Trust funding for the Albinism in Africa project, which she set up in 2014. She currently leads the ?Alternative Explanations: Disability and Inclusion Africa? project, in collaboration with Elvis Imafidon, which is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and Global Challenges Research Fund.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eElvis Imafidon\u003c\/strong\u003e is Lecturer in Philosophy at SOAS, University of London. He holds a PhD and MA from the University of Ibadan and a BA from Ambrose Alli University. Elvis Imafidon is a person with albinism. His primary areas of research are the philosophy of medicine and healthcare and the philosophy of difference in Africa, with particular reference to albinism. He is author, among other books, of \u003ci\u003eAfrican Philosophy and the Otherness of Albinism: White Skin, Black Race\u003c\/i\u003e (2019).
