He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (Mumbai, India). He is the recipient of several international travel grants and fellowships. His works appear in \u003ci\u003eEnvironment, Development and Sustainability \u003c\/i\u003eand \u003ci\u003eMetropolitics \u003c\/i\u003ejournals. He is the corresponding editor of the following edited books: \u003ci\u003eEnvironmental, Climate, and Social Justice: Perspectives and Practices from the Global South\u003c\/i\u003e (2022) and \u003ci\u003eSocial Work and Climate Justice: International Perspectives\u003c\/i\u003e (forthcoming, Routledge).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSalim Momtaz\u003c\/strong\u003e (Ph.D.) is an Affiliate Associate Professor at the University of Newcastle, Australia. He teaches in the area of Sustainable Resource Management. He received his BSc and MSc degrees in Geography from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He did a Ph.D. in Development Studies from the University of London under a Commonwealth Scholarship. His academic careers spans over 35 years. He published 13 books, 8 book chapters, and many articles in international journals.
