City Blocks explores the life of a semi-employed 'walker in the city'. His external world engages him until a moment of sadness when a respected old friend dies. A series of minor adventures begin to change his character: A brief trip to the American South; followed by a stay in a German prison; and upon returning home, problematic relationships with his old friends and buddies. These conspire to produce self-reflection and growing wisdom.Romance, reconciliation and happiness emerge.
