Within these pages lay some of my own depths I have had to drown in. My body, once an anchor became such a burden of a weight. It was a beautiful day when I learned to float. All that time I wanted a lifejacket, I only needed to inhale a little more deeply. That is almost all it took for me to come back to the surface--MY surface. I belong in both places, but these gullible fish that make me had to learn to swim on their own. Why would I need a lifejacket when I was born underwater and gifted with gills? Now, I can say, with confidence, I am ready to explore and share what lies beneath my surface....
