The list of how we are grieving the Spirit is exhaustive; however, I will mention some key areas where we have been failing consistently: \u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e1. Not loving God as we ought\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e2. Not fearing God as we ought\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e3. Turning God into a God of Convenience\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e4. Not reading the Word (Bible) daily\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e5. Failing to pray for self and others\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e6. Breaking promises\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e7. Not tithing regularly\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e8. Being a false witness\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e9. Choosing to be selfish and self-centered\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e10. Not being thankful and not showing appreciation\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eI I. Taking God and others for granted\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e12. Presenting ourselves as holy and righteous\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e13. Judging others constantly\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e14. Entertaining and encouraging gossip\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e15. Not practicing humility\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eThe Holy Spirit inspired me to write this book first to myself as an eye-opening experience. Yet, I realize I am not the only one dealing with the issues mentioned above. Thousands of people (possibly more) may be experiencing the same things I have been facing.
