Author Biography
Rebekah Colburn calls Maryland's Eastern Shore her home, but has always been drawn to the romance of the Western Plains. Her earliest memories include stories about wagon trains, cattle drives, and the pioneer lifestyle. Her idea for the series, "Of Wind and Sky" was conceived on a visit to Wyoming and a cold, sleepless night camping at Yellowstone National Park. Her love for writing began as a child, and she completed her first full length novel at the age of fifteen. Now she desires to use the lessons she's learned through life's valleys to create rich stories with real characters that will inspire and encourage her readers. In 2001 she obtained a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Washington Bible College, and this education influences her writing as well. Rebekah's hobbies include mountain biking and cycling, to keep her active when she's not reading, researching or writing. And walking her dog, a sweet and rambunctious Pit-Lab Mix. She lives in Centreville, Maryland with her husband and daughter, and two spoiled cats
