Author Biography
Esaw Wilson Jr. was born and raised in Jackson MS in 1928. A poet, a retired business owner, and a retired soldier in the military, Wilson met and married his wife, Ida Bell, over sixty-two years ago. During his attendance at Lanier High School, Wilson was drafted into the Army and traveled aboard the USS Searburb heading to Korea. It was in those days that he was inspired to write his first poem, Voyage. Since then, all of his poems have been inspired by events and people in which his path has crossed
