After years of struggle some found their dreams. Some found disappointment and desperation. Then there were the American Born Chinese who have a different set of experiences and concerns. Unlike other novels by Chinese-American writers that complain about racial discrimination, prejudice, and non-acceptance, or by native Chinese writers who only write about China, this novel is unique in its point of view and approach. The writer takes an objective stand in presenting the lives and experiences of different types of Chinese in America, and an unbiased observation, comparison and comments on the two societies, that of the America and the China.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eAuthor Biography\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eD.
