In high school, he was dissuaded from pursuing writing as a passion due to creating disturbing and unwelcome horror fiction as a result of undiagnosed ADHD, depression, and a particularly perturbing domestic violence incident. Ten years later, he impulsively cut his teeth with the story 'I Accidentally Called My Boss Mom' - originally posted free to read on Reddit. It was written on a whim after he read a satisfactory smut story and thought - I could write something at least as good as this.

Part One received unforeseen and explosive acclaim and, along with Part Two, garnered more than a million collective views within two weeks. All ten parts, almost fifty thousand words, were posted for free the following month. He began a Patreon campaign - Deep Rest Writing- to let Patrons read the rough drafts of every chapter, as well as view the documents being written in real-time.
