Late December is a magical time of year. Magical enough for the forces of the Fomoire to truly begin their conquest. Many people travel and consider new things during a gap year before college. Megan of the Unseelie, all of 18 now, is spending hers hurrying between realms and trying to figure how to stop the Fomoire from running rampant over all worlds when the Winter Solstice arrives. Now Megan must rally her friends and allies one more time in a last, desperate mission. Especially because some on both sides say all those worlds are doomed.

Author Biography

Jeffrey Cook lives in Maple Valley, Washington, with his wife and three large dogs. He was born in Boulder, Colorado, but has lived all over the United States. He's the author of the Dawn of Steam series of alternate-history/emergent Steampunk epistolary novels, the Young Adult sci-fi thriller Mina Cortez: From Bouquets to Bullets out of Fire and Ice YA Press, the YA contemporary Fantasy novel Foul is Fair, novellas for the Shakespear Goes Punk charity anthologies of Writerpunk Press, and numerous short stories. When not reading, researching, or writing, Jeffrey enjoys role-playing games and watching football. Katherine Perkins just moved to Mobile, Alabama, with her husband and one extremely skittish cat. She was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, and will defend its cuisine on any field of honor. She is the series editor of the Dawn of Steam series and the co-author of Foul is Fair, as well as novellas for Writerpunk Press and numerous short stories. When not reading, researching, writing, or editing, she tries to remember what she was supposed to be doing.
