Nora Flowers is a 14 year old girl who loves and admires her favorite band. Kissy and the Goth Gals. She knows their songs by heart and dreams of becoming a punk rock musician with her BFFs, Yasmin Star, Asia Vasquez, and Tonya Jackson.
While eating out at Pizza Castle, Nora and her friends found out that Kissy and the Goth Gals were performing in Ferndale, Michigan. Yasmin, Asia, and Tonya are going, but not Nora. Due to her bad grades, it is a 50% chance she may not go. She tries making a deal with her parents by allowing her to go if she passes her math test but blows it after pulling the fire alarm and getting suspended from school for 2 weeks. Nora completely lost her chance to go to the concert.
As the rebel and troublemaker she is, Nora disobeys her parents and decides to sneak out to the concert with the help of her friends. On their way there, her enemy, Claire McKenzie, tries to ruin Nora's night by exposing the truth to her parents and calling the police to chase after her before she makes it to the concert.
