I was born in North Platte, Nebraska and moved to Denver, Colorado in 1961. I was married for 53 years to a wonderful man, Gus I have been a widow for 10 years. I have 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. I have been writing poetry for over 30 years. My family encouraged me to put my poems into a book. I make cards for various occasions and put a poem that I have written into each card that I send to people. I thank God for giving me the ability to write poetry and share with others.
