After concentrating his energies on rugby and raising a family, he re-joined in 1983. Since then, he has fulfilled many roles within the club and is currently a life member and president.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFrom its foundation in 1921, Port Talbot Harriers has been an athletic force within the community and throughout Wales. Founder member A. E. 'Arthur' Williams was the backbone of the club for over 60 years, and without him there would have been no club at all. Considerable expansion of the membership took place during the 2010s, and a multisport section was added. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Harriers have seen many changes in personnel and have had a rather nomadic existence.
