Author Biography

Kim Steadman is a cubicle-nation escapee. After physical, emotional and spiritual burn-out she ended her climb on the corporate ladder. Instead, Kim went home to pursue childhood dreams. She encourages women to seek the Master Designer to repurpose and redesign their lives when the nest empties. With the inspiration of the Texas sun, she writes to the heart and soul of women and the Denver series is a legacy to her grandson. As a child, Kim Steadman grew up in a quiet suburb outside of Dallas, TX. You would never know she was so near to the city. Her childhood homes nestled near wooded areas or expanses of fields. While she loved her friends, her greatest friends were her books. 
 When she was a little girl, she used to play library with her dolls. Her shelf of books in her bedroom served as the library. Each doll borrowed a book to read. She would spend her time reading to them and explored the fantastical world of reading. It was through books she developed a lifelong love of furry and winged creatures.
