Author Biography

Leonie Wheeler, Australian singer, songwriter and storyteller, has a love for the Australian outback, and adored her early adventures of living and working on cattle stations in the Northern Territory and Queensland. She has a diverse background from teaching in remote Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory's Arnhem Land to working as an Advisory Teacher in Behaviour and Autism. Her love of writing flows into the genre of country music, and her debut easy listening album, The Journey, connects to the listener from a very personal level. She combines her love of the Australian bush with storytelling, to present an engaging and heart-warming novel, Hope Valley, which the reader of romance is sure to appreciate. When Leonie isn't travelling Australia with her partner, performing and promoting her album, The Journey, she enjoys rural living on the banks of Kinchant Dam, in the picturesque Pioneer Valley, North Queensland.
