by Katharina Wiedlack (Author)
The book explores the New Cold War between Western and Russian media, focusing on LGBTIQ+, femininity, masculinity, racial diversity, and disability. It interrogates how while trying to claim liberal values as American and contrasting them with "backward" Russian values, media on both sides reproduce the same homophobic and racist narratives.
