Author Biography

Welcome. I initially developed this material for my own filmmaking use, but then decided to make it available to everyone. Being a filmmaker myself, I know the hurdles that must be overcome to succeed in the film industry. This business is all about your mindset, action and talent. If you have talent and passion and are willing to work hard you can succeed. I want you to turn your filmmaking dreams into reality. I have put together the materials you need to be nothing less than a great filmmaker. My entertainment industry experience includes: -Started in the industry as a professional stand-up comic, improv actor and voice-over artist. -Founded the Malcolm Vincent Screenwriting Competition, judged over 500 scripts, provided scripts to major film studios including Disney, Twentieth Century Fox and United Artists. -Worked almost every possible film job known to mankind...writer, actor, script supervisor, production assistant, film loader, gaffer, grip, camera operator, focus puller, sound mixer, boom operator, line producer, director, and editor. -Writer/Director on two independent films and currently have several more in development. -Teaching filmmaking privately for 12 years. -Professional Success Coach to filmmakers and other professionals. -Member of Bridge Conservatory Writer's Group. -Featured in Guerrilla Filmmaker & Super 8mm Today, quoted in MovieMaker Magazine. -Formal education: BS in Mechanical Engineering, MBA, studied filmmaking and screenwriting at several universities.
