Why Another Bucket List? No one was more surprised at the overwhelming success of my first book than I. It was a lot of fun to write and I know many people thoroughly enjoyed reading it, based upon their emails and comments. Because of this response, I began to think about writing a second book. This thought became a reality when I started a list of the things I had forgotten, including suggestions from readers and new things I discovered after the first book was published. As the list grew, I knew a Bucket List II was in the works. This time I wanted to include some "experiences" for kids to do on their own. I watched my grandsons and other youngsters and realized how much fun they have being kids, just doing kid stuff. So, I have incorporated kid items throughout the book. Some might be specifically for the young (set up a lemonade stand) but most can be checked off by the "young at heart" as well I hope you are challenged again and discover more ways of experiencing our wonderful city. Author Biography

Mary Ann Bolen is a wife, mother, grandmother and retired elementary school teacher who has had Ocean City's sand in her shoes for more than 50 years. She and her husband, Bob, got married in Ocean City, bought their first home in Ocean City and later taught their two children to appreciate the simple, sandy joys of bare feet, front porches and outside showers. The Bolens live year round in their 110-year-old house. It has been the headquarters "down the Shore" for five generations of relatives and countless friends, and it will always be "home" to Bob, Mary Ann and their now-grown children, Kevin and Mandy. When she's not reading mystery novels in a beach chair or visiting her children in Key West and Boston, Mary Ann is checking off the last few items on The Ocean City Bucket List and beginning her checklist for The Ocean City Bucket List II.
