Peter V.N. Henderson is professor emeritus at Winona State University. His books include The Course of Andean History, Gabriel García Moreno and Conservative State Formation, In the Absence of Don Porfirio, Féix Díaz and the Mexican Revolution, and with Viriginia Garrard and Bryan McCann, Latin America in the Modern World.
