by Richard A. Tennant (Author), Daniel Patte (Editor), Eugene TeSelle (Editor)
Part of the series Romans Through History and Culture, this book explores Augustine's hermeneutics. His reliance on biblical interpretation as a pillar of Christian life is examined in light of his writings on a single book: Paul's Letter to the Romans. One contributor to the anthology also looks at the effect of Augustine's readings of Paul have had on Pauline critical studies.
